TIMBER PLANTATION

Sifoe Farm is located in Bonto.

From 1980 to 1994, Sifoe Farm was engaged in horticulture production and export to the UK and Dutch markets. All produce was exported by air.

In 1992, the farm was converted into forestry. Sifoe Farm currently provides the Gambian market scaffolding supports for the construction industry, fence posts, and fire wood, and it supplies its sister company, Nyambai Sawmill, with logs for timber production.
